Gloucester Terrace, W2 6HR

Guide Price: £1,500,000 to £1,600,000 This fabulous two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is set on the first floor of an imposing stucco-fronted period building on the prestigious Gloucester Terrace.

Blending London’s rich architectural heritage with modern interior design, this home is a true showpiece of style and history.

Originally constructed in the mid-19th century, Gloucester Terrace was designed as a grand residential street for the aristocracy, with its elegant white façades, soaring ceilings, and ornate detailing.

Today, it remains one of Bayswater’s most admired addresses, just moments from Hyde Park, the world-renowned Lancaster Gate and Paddington station, and the luxury of the nearby Royal Lancaster Hotel.

The apartment itself makes the most of its heritage setting.

The reception room is nothing short of spectacular, with 4-metre-high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling sash windows with original shutters, intricate cornicing, 1800s wall panelling, and an ornate ceiling rose.

These features, combined with access to a private west-facing terrace, create a magnificent space to entertain or enjoy a summer evening.

The property offers two well-proportioned double bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom, alongside a further family bathroom.

The separate kitchen sits on a gentle split level and is spacious enough to dine in, with excellent work surfaces and modern appliances — perfect for any aspiring chef.

Throughout, wooden floors, thoughtful interior design, and stylish finishes bring a contemporary edge to this historic home.

Gloucester Terrace is one of central London’s most desirable locations, with the open green expanse of Hyde Park just a short walk away.

Excellent transport links can be found at Lancaster Gate (Central Line) and Paddington (Elizabeth Line, Heathrow Express, National Rail), making it both a luxurious and practical London base.

This is a rare opportunity to own a truly unique apartment — where the elegance of the past meets the comfort of modern living.
