A stunning west Putney detached family home on this much coveted road.

Description A sublime, spacious and beautifully considered double fronted period detached house (4,065 sq ft) on the preferred west side of this much coveted west Putney road.

The property has been extensively and sympathetically remodelled and extended in recent years, with great flare and attention to detail throughout.

The flow of accommodation, over three floors, plus cellar, is ideal for family living with all that this entails.

The finish is exceptional and consistently high throughout and this is a testament to the vision and expertise of the interior design team involved in the works to create a stunning and practical family home.

The plot is a generous size and the front and rear gardens provide both a beautiful approach to the house and backdrop, allowing ample space for the needs of a growing family, whilst also giving structure and ease of maintenance.

The front door leads into a spacious and welcoming hall and to the right, immediately on entry is the study.

A large bay window gives a fine outlook over the front garden and beyond and this is an ideal space for home working.

To the left is a good sized reception room, again with a bay window bringing in plenty of light and sky and bespoke cabinetry allowing for all things family entertainment.

To the rear left of the house is the elegant formal drawing room, with a pretty fireplace being a focal point and large French doors leading onto a particularly private and secluded south and west facing patio.

A recent side extension provides both a utility room and downstairs cloakroom, also leading through to the rear of the house and garden beyond.

The hub of the property is the magnificent kitchen / breakfast / family room, with the hand made Treyone kitchen being its focal point with both Gaggenau and Miele appliances.

The banquette dining area and split level design give a good degree of definition to the kitchen, dining and reception spaces, whilst also affording a particularly light and spacious feel and flow to this space.

The vaulted ceiling is a very unusual feature and rounds it all off just beautifully. There is level access to the wonderful mature and beautifully designed and landscaped garden.

The views out are superb, with the outlook being particularly private due to clever planting, landscaping and the considerable distance between the house and its nearest neighbours: Privacy is therefore assured and the eye is drawn down the garden path, towards the bespoke garden room, currently used as a family games room.

Working back to the house itself, the sumptuous principal bedroom suite is at first floor level with its ample Smallbone wardrobes and recently updated en suite facilities, providing both a bath and separate shower; also double sinks.

There are three further double bedrooms on this floor, one of which is currently beautifully fitted out as a second study and this shares a wonderful outlook with the other rear facing double bedroom, affording far reaching views over the garden and beyond.

All three bedrooms are very well served by the recently updated family bathroom, again with both a bath and separate shower.

The top floor is given over to two further good sized double bedrooms and these both share the use of a newly fitted family shower room.

Furthermore, there is ample eaves storage, easily accessible from both bedrooms and the landing.

Lastly there is a cellar with built in wine racks which also houses the brand new Keston boiler and water tank.

The bespoke garden room to the rear of the plot is mains powered and there is also a tap behind it, which feeds the automatic irrigation system.

A pretty courtyard style decked area also provides a wonderful spot for teenagers to congregate around an open fire pit.

To the south side of the property, there is covered, secure access to the rear garden and this also provides a useful storage space for mowers and bicycles, etc.

Having sold this house to our clients in 2004, we are delighted to welcome them back as sellers.

Whilst the house they bought through us was beautiful indeed, the alterations, improvements and maintenance they have carried out since have raised this property into another league.

It is now absolutely best in class.

Location Set on a quiet, tree lined road in the heart of West Putney, Castello Avenue is one of the area’s most desirable residential addresses, known for its handsome family houses.

The property enjoys excellent connectivity, with Putney mainline station offering fast services to London Waterloo, and East Putney Underground Station (District Line) close by.
