Shared Ownership: Shared Ownership is a fantastic option if you want to get onto the property ladder but can’t afford to buy a home outright on the open market.

It helps reduce the pressure of saving for a large deposit and keeps monthly costs more manageable by lowering mortgage repayments.

With Shared Ownership, you purchase a percentage of a home—typically up to 75%—and pay an affordable rent on the remaining share.

When you’re ready, you can also buy additional shares over time, a process known as staircasing. Shares are available from 10% to 75%.
