About
Big on space, beautifully presented and with a south facing garden made for sunny days.
This three bedroom end terrace combines a fantastic kitchen/dining room, generous lounge, three car driveway and stylish neutral interiors in a brilliant Muirhead location.
Five things our current owners love about their home: 1. We love how much room we have in both the lounge and kitchen.
We've been able to comfortably fit our large L shaped sofa and dining table without either room ever feeling overcrowded.
It has also made the house brilliant for hosting family and friends, as there is genuinely space for everyone to get together. 2. Having a driveway with capacity for three cars has been amazing.
Day to day it gives us plenty of convenient off street parking, but we particularly appreciate it when family and friends visit as there is room for their cars too. 3.
We love the oak lvt flooring and carpets throughout the house. They're high quality, easy to maintain and the neutral colours have made decorating and choosing furniture really straightforward.
We've always been able to change accessories and furnishings without worrying about whether they'll work with the flooring. 4. The situation of the house has been perfect for us.
Being near the edge of the development means we don't experience as much passing traffic, particularly during the morning and evening commute.
Our south facing garden gets the sunshine throughout the day during the summer months, and from the main bedroom we can even see the Campsie Hills in the distance, which gives us a lovely feeling of being close to the countryside.
5. We love how convenient Muirhead has been for everyday life. We can walk to local shops, schools, our gp and some lovely restaurants, so we don't always need to jump in the car for the basics.
It's been a really easy place to live. There is a real sense of space throughout this home, and the immaculate presentation means the next owners can simply unpack and settle in.
The lounge is particularly generous, with plenty of room for a large corner sofa and additional furniture without compromising the feeling of space.
Light oak effect lvt flooring, soft neutral decor and plenty of natural light give the room a bright, contemporary feel, while its proportions make it equally suited to quiet family nights or having friends over.
To the rear, the kitchen and dining area is another standout.
Sleek grey cabinetry, contrasting worktops and modern appliances create a smart finish, while the size of the room allows for a proper family dining table.
There is plenty of workspace for cooking and entertaining, with a door leading directly into the rear garden, ideal when family life moves outdoors in the warmer months.
A downstairs WC is tucked conveniently off the hall, adding another practical feature to the ground floor.
Upstairs, the main bedroom is a lovely retreat with excellent proportions, mirrored fitted wardrobes and its own ensuite shower room.
The owners also enjoy distant views towards the Campsie Hills from here, adding something a little special to the outlook.
The second bedroom is another comfortable double, while bedroom three is currently arranged as a home office.
It would work equally well as a child's bedroom, nursery or dedicated study, giving the layout plenty of flexibility as needs change. A bright family bathroom completes the upper floor.
The interiors have been kept cohesive throughout, with quality neutral flooring and carpets creating a finish that feels modern without being overly styled.
It is the kind of home where almost any furniture and colour scheme could work. Outside is just as appealing.
The enclosed south facing rear garden combines a generous lawn with a paved area immediately outside the house and a timber garden shed.
It offers plenty of room for children to play, pets to enjoy the outdoors or for the next owners to create their own seating and entertaining area.
Being an end terrace also brings additional outside space, while the driveway is a particularly valuable feature, with the current owners advising there is capacity for up to three cars.
Muirhead is a popular location for buyers looking for the convenience of village amenities while remaining well connected to Glasgow and the wider central belt.
Kensington Place is particularly well positioned for everyday life, with shops, schools, healthcare and places to eat all accessible locally.
Road connections make commuting towards Glasgow and surrounding towns straightforward, while the area's proximity to more open countryside and the Campsie Hills gives buyers the benefit of having green space within easy reach.
With three bedrooms, two bathrooms plus a downstairs WC, a south facing garden, parking for three cars and beautifully maintained interiors, Kensington Place delivers the space and practicality families need without sacrificing style.
