Accommodation The front door opens into a spacious and welcoming entrance hallway, complete with a useful storage cupboard for coats and shoes.

From here, a stunning turned Carpenter Oak staircase rises to the first-floor landing, a light-filled retreat in its own right, with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides that bathe the space in natural light and create an inviting spot to curl up with a book or enjoy a morning coffee.

The landing flows through to the sitting and dining room, where a magnificent vaulted ceiling showcases the property's original beams to spectacular effect.

A Juliet balcony frames far-reaching views over the river and surrounding countryside, while a superb wood-burning stove provides a warming focal point during the cooler months.

Dual-aspect windows and generous proportions make this a truly impressive space, offering ample room for both sitting and dining furniture.

The kitchen is beautifully appointed with shaker-style cabinetry above and below solid wooden worktops with tiled surrounds.

Well-equipped for modern living, it features an integrated dishwasher and washing machine, a Rangemaster range cooker and space for an American-style fridge-freezer.

A door from the snug opens directly onto a decked terrace, making alfresco dining and entertaining effortless.

A short flight of steps leads from the snug to the principal bedroom, which enjoys the same soaring vaulted ceiling and exposed beams as the rest of the first-floor accommodation.

This impressive room benefits from its own private terrace, built-in wardrobes and a smartly tiled en-suite shower room complete with WC, basin and heated towel rail.

On the ground floor, three further well-appointed bedrooms each benefit from built-in wardrobes, providing excellent storage throughout.

Further decked terraces adjoin the property, offering a variety of outdoor spaces to enjoy throughout the day as the sun moves around.
