Rivington Street, London, EC2A 3QQ

“Exposed brickwork, impressive ceiling heights and Juliet balconies lend the space a distinctly airy character” Set within the coveted Shoreditch triangle, this light-filled two-bedroom apartment occupies the second floor of a characterful former warehouse on Rivington Street.

With interiors designed by Paperhouse Architects, the apartment carefully balances the building’s original industrial heritage with contemporary interventions.

The apartment has a peaceful quality despite its prominent position just moments from the eclectic markets and creative scene of east London.

The Tour The apartment opens into a spacious entrance hall, leading to the open-plan kitchen-living-dining room.

Here, exposed brickwork is set against crisp white walls, while four sash windows across two aspects draw natural light into the space and emphasise the generous ceiling heights.

The kitchen has been thoughtfully designed, with clean-lined white cabinetry extending across the upper and lower levels.

A navy-blue plywood worktop introduces a subtle note of colour, complementing the integrated appliances. Double doors open onto a Juliet balcony, adding to the room’s warehouse character.

The principal bedroom is bright and airy, with white walls and additional fitted storage.

The second bedroom offers flexibility as an office with generous space for a desk set beneath built-in open shelving. Double doors open onto a second Juliet balcony.

Centrally positioned within the apartment, the bathroom features a bathtub alongside a separate shower, decorated with large-format, dark grey tiles and contemporary fittings.
