The original Edwardian front door opens into a charming panelled entrance hall with the principal rooms spurring from here.

The sitting room is a particularly impressive reception space, having been opened up from two original rooms to create a superb double-aspect room with deep bay windows overlooking the gardens to the front, flooding the space with natural light.

A separate double aspect study provides an ideal home office with pleasant views across the grounds and could equally be used as a ground floor bedroom, if required.

Undoubtedly the heart of the home is the outstanding open-plan kitchen, dining and family room.

The vaulted ceiling creates an impressive sense of space, whilst the wood-burning stove and bespoke cabinetry provide warmth and character.

French doors open directly onto the gardens, making this a wonderful space for both everyday family life and entertaining.

The kitchen is fitted with solid oak worktops, twin Belfast sinks, integrated appliances and generous preparation space, with an adjoining utility and boot room offering excellent practical storage and direct access to the garden.

On the first floor are three bedrooms, two of which are double-aspect with fitted storage.

A further bedroom, currently arranged as a dressing room, retains an original duck’s nest fireplace with art nouveau mantle.

These are served by two beautifully appointed bath and shower rooms, including a luxurious bathroom with a freestanding claw-foot bath.

The second floor is dedicated to an impressive principal bedroom suite with charming angled ceilings, dressing room, fitted wardrobes, excellent eaves storage and an en suite shower room, creating a peaceful retreat away from the main family accommodation.

Outside The gardens and grounds are undoubtedly a standout feature of the property, extending to approximately 1.87 acres.

They comprise formal south-facing gardens, an eastern paddock and park-like grounds including wild flower and bluebell meadows, a wide variety of fruit trees as well as flowering shrubs, ponds, coppices and an abundance of seasonal planting that create a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquillity throughout the year.

A gravel driveway provides parking for numerous vehicles and leads to a charming brick outbuilding with tiled roof, believed to have originally been a milking parlour.

Subject to the necessary consents, this offers excellent potential for conversion into ancillary accommodation or a home office.
