Nikolaus Pevsner and Bridget Cherry described it as a “monumental free Baroque brick and stone composition”.

Further rooflights illuminate the dining and kitchen areas along the eastern side. The kitchen, positioned in the northeast corner, is by Bulthaup.

In the opposite corner, a set of floating glass steps leads to a mezzanine study, enclosed by frosted-glass balustrades.

Throughout, engineered oak floorboards with underfloor heating provide uniform warmth and texture. The lower level contains four bedrooms and a television room/snug, which could function as a fifth bedroom if desired.

Another set of glazed sliding doors leads to the dressing room, which can also be accessed from the second bedroom through its own Crittall-style doors.

Further to this, you could also add a bathroom in the dressing room as a sixth bathroom.

Three bedrooms have en suite facilities, while the fourth is served by a shower room located at the core of the plan. A guest WC lies off the main entrance hall on this level.
