Shepherds Cottage, Bosmore Lane, Henley-on-thames, RG9 6JJ

This beautifully finished barn conversion sits within the grounds of a private, gated country estate, just a few miles from Henley-on-Thames and Marlow.

Inside, the interiors are light, warm and full of character, with high ceilings, exposed beams and plenty of thoughtful finishing touches.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living space is the heart of the home, with a wood-burning stove and a well-designed kitchen offering lots of storage and a central island.

There are three good-sized double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main bedroom is especially lovely, with plenty of space, its own dressing area and an en-suite bathroom.

Outside, there is parking to the front and a secure private garden at the rear.

It is a wonderfully peaceful spot, surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Chiltern Hills and close to the pretty village of Fawley.

Henley-on-Thames and Marlow are both only a few miles away, offering a great choice of independent shops, cafés and restaurants.

Closer to home, there are lovely country pubs, beautiful walks and plenty of cycling routes to enjoy.

Despite the rural setting, the property is well placed for the M40, Heathrow Airport and train services into London Paddington and Marylebone. There is also a good selection of schools nearby.

The cottage is available from early September and is unfurnished
