The Cotes is an imposing, spacious and charming Grade II listed house situated on the outskirts of this sought after town.

The current owners who have lived at the property for 26 years have been sympathetic with their refurbishment to retain all of the character and period features that the property has to offer.

Upon entering the property, you are immediately struck by the size and impressive proportions throughout.

The entrance hall leads onto the majority of the ground floor accommodation; on the southerly side of the property there are two immaculately presented receptions rooms each with large sash windows and working fireplaces.

These are currently laid out as a drawing room and a dining room however; this could be altered to fit the new purchaser’s requirements.

The kitchen has been well thought out with a central island, Aga, plenty of base and wall units, a walk-in larder, integrated appliances and finished with granite worktops.

The final reception room adjoins the kitchen and opens out into the courtyard offering a tranquil space for entertaining.

Completing the ground floor is a utility room which has rear access to a covered walkway to the garden and courtyard.

Moving up to the first floor, there are three generous double bedrooms which all have large sash windows allowing a wealth of natural light to envelop the rooms.

Bedroom one also benefits from built in storage and bedrooms two and three have original fireplaces. There is also a large family bathroom and a shower room on the half landing.

On the second floor there are two generous double bedrooms along with space for a study if required.
