Set within a picturesque village close to Ely, this extended detached bungalow occupies an elevated position with exceptional far-reaching views across open countryside towards the world-renowned Ely Cathedral.

The property offers well-proportioned and versatile accommodation, together with a substantial private garden backing directly onto open fields, creating a particularly peaceful and attractive setting.

The accommodation is arranged around a spacious entrance hall and includes four generous double bedrooms.

The principal bedroom is particularly impressive, featuring a large dressing room with extensive fitted storage and a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden and countryside beyond.

The recently updated en suite shower room further complements the principal suite.

There are two further generous double bedrooms to the front and side of the property, while the fourth bedroom is positioned to the rear and enjoys views across the garden.

A separate family bathroom has also been recently updated and includes both a bath and separate walk-in shower.

The kitchen/dining room provides a practical and sociable space, with a good range of fitted units, extensive work surfaces and French doors opening into the adjoining dining area.

The accommodation then continues through to the living areas, including a generous sitting room with high ceilings, an open brick fireplace and log-burning stove, together with superb views across the garden, fields and towards Ely Cathedral.

A further versatile room provides additional family or reception space.

A particularly useful utility room offers a generous amount of fitted storage, work surface and appliance space, with access to the rear garden, while a separate cloakroom completes the accommodation.

Outside, the property is surrounded by an extensive and beautifully maintained garden, offering a high degree of privacy and backing directly onto open countryside.

The garden extends beyond the main lawn to include a substantial timber-built workshop with power connected, further storage, a vegetable garden and an orchard containing a variety of established fruit trees including apple, pear, plum and peach.

There is access to the garden from both sides of the bungalow, while the rear boundary provides uninterrupted views towards Ely Cathedral.

To the front, a spacious gravelled driveway provides ample off-road parking. The current owners have also obtained planning permission to extend the living accommodation further under Planning Ref.

No. 22/00843/FUL. The bedroom and bathroom extension has already been carried out, with the footings for the proposed further extension to the living accommodation already in place.

This provides the new owner with an opportunity to complete the approved works and create additional living space, while making the most of the property's exceptional outlook.
