Lower Dee Banks, Chester, CH3 5UY

VIEWING DAY - 20TH JULY 3-5PM Please scroll down to view FAQ’s Welcome to Rolleston on Lower Dee Banks – a truly special private river garden offering your own peaceful slice of the River Dee.

Currently enjoyed by the owners as a retreat for family and friends, this unique property can be used all year round, with no restrictions on how long you can stay, making it the perfect escape in every season.

Accessed through a secure gate at the top of the road, you descend a set of metal steps to a level area that’s ideal for storing canoes, paddleboards or other watersports equipment.

A few steps further down brings you to a generous decked terrace and the first chalet, originally dating back to the 1920s or 1930s.

Beautifully maintained and sympathetically renovated, it offers a fully equipped kitchen with a sink, hob, oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher, along with a spacious sitting room where two sets of sliding doors open directly onto the riverside decking.

The chalet also features two double bedrooms, a shower room, a useful store room, heating, and mains water, drainage and electricity.

Crossing the decking, you’ll find a lovely seating area that’s perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining.

French doors lead into the second chalet, a replacement building constructed in 2015 with full planning permission.

This versatile space could easily serve as a third bedroom and benefits from a stylish shower room accessed via a sliding pocket door.

Outside, the level lawn provides plenty of space for summer gatherings, family games or even a teepee for children.

The enclosed garden is ideal for those with children or dogs, offering peace of mind while making the most of the outdoor space.

From here, step onto the riverside decking where you’ll find your private moorings and boat, with direct access onto the River Dee.

Across the water, horses often wander through the meadows to cool off during the warmer months, creating a wonderfully picturesque setting.

The current owners say the sunsets here are simply spectacular throughout the year, and it’s easy to see why this has become such a cherished place to escape.

Whether you’re looking for a peaceful weekend retreat or somewhere to enjoy unforgettable moments with family and friends, Rolleston offers a lifestyle that’s increasingly hard to find.
