Meysey Hampton, Cirencester, GL7 5LL

Reference: #16190 Welcome to Greenacres Park, one of our newest residential park home communities — a beautifully landscaped seven-acre retreat set near the charming Cotswold village of Meysey Hampton in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside.

Peaceful, unhurried, and utterly picturesque, Greenacres Park offers the chance to embrace a gentler pace of life in one of England's most beloved and scenically outstanding regions, with countryside walks, historic villages, and outstanding local amenities all within easy reach.

Location & Local Attractions Meysey Hampton is a quintessential Cotswold village, combining historic charm, natural beauty, and a warm sense of rural community.

Set just a short drive from the thriving market town of Cirencester, it offers the tranquillity of a traditional English village alongside excellent access to a broad range of shops, services, and cultural attractions.

Local highlights include: • Meysey Hampton Circular Walk — A delightful 1.8-mile loop trail winding through farmland, ancient woodlands, and alongside a peaceful stream.

Suitable for walking, running, and dog walking, with a welcome stop at The Masons Arms pub for refreshments along the way — the perfect introduction to the landscape on the doorstep of Greenacres Park.

• The Masons Arms — The village pub and a natural focal point of community life in Meysey Hampton, offering a warm welcome, good food, and the convivial atmosphere that makes a traditional English country pub such a pleasure to have nearby.

• Cirencester — Known as the capital of the Cotswolds, this handsome and historic market town is just a short drive from Greenacres Park and offers an outstanding range of independent shops, restaurants, cafés, and cultural attractions.

Key highlights include the Corinium Museum — one of the finest Roman collections in the country — the beautiful Cirencester Park, and a twice-weekly market that has served the town for centuries.

For day-to-day essentials and leisurely days out alike, Cirencester is an exceptional resource.

• The Cotswolds — Greenacres Park sits within one of England's most celebrated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering an almost limitless supply of scenic walks, cycling routes, historic villages, country houses, and gardens to explore.

From the honey-stoned streets of Burford and Bourton-on-the-Water to the sweeping escarpment views of Broadway Hill and Cleeve Common, the Cotswolds rewards exploration at every turn and in every season.

• The Thames Path — The River Thames rises just a few miles from Meysey Hampton near Kemble, and the Thames Path National Trail passes through some of the most beautiful and tranquil stretches of the upper river valley in this area — ideal for walking and cycling at a leisurely pace.

Park Home Living — A Smarter Way to Downsize For those seeking a more relaxed and rewarding way of life in retirement, Greenacres Park offers a genuinely compelling opportunity — the chance to downsize without compromise, in one of the most beautiful corners of England.

The financial benefits are often significant and immediate. Park homes are priced considerably below equivalent conventional properties, and at Greenacres Park homes start from £130,000.

For many buyers, this creates the opportunity to release meaningful equity from an existing home — providing the financial freedom to enjoy retirement on their own terms, support family, or simply face the future with greater security and confidence.

Day-to-day living is designed to be easier and more enjoyable too.

Park homes are low-maintenance by nature, with well-proportioned, manageable gardens and none of the large-scale structural upkeep associated with older or larger properties.

Council Tax is charged at Band A — the lowest available rating — and combined with the typically lower utility costs of a modern, well-insulated park home, monthly outgoings are often considerably reduced compared to a conventional house.

More financial freedom and more time to enjoy it.

To make the transition as smooth as possible, we offer a tailored Assisted Sale scheme that allows you to move into your new home with a small deposit while we manage the sale of your existing property on your behalf — removing much of the complexity and uncertainty that can otherwise accompany a property move.

Flexible Part Exchange options are also available, and we are happy to work with you to find a solution that fits your individual circumstances.

All residents at Greenacres Park are protected under the Mobile Homes Act 1983 (as amended in 2013), providing a clear and robust legal framework that ensures genuine security of tenure and lasting peace of mind.

For a great many people, the move to a park home proves to be one of the most positive, liberating, and rewarding decisions of their retirement years.
