Dee Lane, West Kirby, CH48 0AB

There is a quiet elegance to Hilbre Sands, where contemporary architecture meets timeless coastal beauty.

Perfectly positioned on the edge of West Kirby’s Marine Lake, this exclusive collection of two-bedroom apartments captures the essence of refined seaside living.

With sweeping views across the Dee Estuary towards Hilbre Island, every detail invites you to pause, breathe and savour the rhythm of coastal life.

From the moment you arrive, Hilbre Sands feels different. Its striking façade, finished in bespoke brick-slip cladding and muted bronze detailing, sits naturally within its surroundings.

Frameless glazed balconies and slatted cladding soften the architecture, creating movement and light while ensuring privacy for each home.

Inside, every apartment has been designed to flow effortlessly, balancing beauty and practicality with the ease of modern living.

A Seamless Flow of Light and Space Step into the open-plan living area and feel the calm wash over you.

Floor-to-ceiling windows frame ever-changing coastal views, while bi-fold doors draw natural light deep into the home.

The spacious wraparound terrace becomes a true extension of the living space, ideal for long summer evenings or quiet winter mornings spent watching the tide roll in.

The interiors have been crafted with a focus on texture, tone and tranquillity. Soft finishes and considered lighting create a natural warmth, while the underfloor heating ensures year-round comfort.

Every detail – from the muted palette to the quality of materials – has been chosen to reflect the serenity of the sea and the sophistication of modern design.

The Heart of the Home Each kitchen is a perfect blend of form and function. Sleek Porcelanosa handleless cabinetry pairs beautifully with white quartz worktops and a subtle oak veneer finish.

Integrated AEG appliances, a wine cooler and an instant boiling water tap elevate daily routines into moments of quiet luxury.

The separate utility room keeps life organised and clutter-free, while clever storage ensures that every inch of space works as beautifully as it looks.

Whether hosting friends for dinner or enjoying a relaxed breakfast with the doors open to the sea breeze, this is a space designed for living well.

Spaces to Retreat and Restore The two double bedrooms continue the sense of light and calm. The principal bedroom features full-height glazing, a walk-in wardrobe and a beautifully appointed en-suite.

Designer Porcelanosa tiles, sensor-activated LED mirrors and heated towel rails bring a spa-like indulgence to every day.

A second bathroom, finished to the same impeccable standard, ensures comfort for guests or family.

Every room feels connected to the outside world yet entirely private – a sanctuary where the sound of the sea becomes part of the home.

Life on the Edge of the Lake Hilbre Sands occupies one of the most coveted settings on the Wirral. West Kirby is a town with soul, a place where natural beauty meets a thriving community spirit.

Stroll along the promenade, paddle on the Marine Lake or wander across the sands to Hilbre Island and watch the sun dip behind the Welsh hills.

Moments from your door lie independent cafés, artisan bakehouses and celebrated restaurants such as the Ring ‘O’ Bells and The Wro.

For evenings out, the West Kirby Tap and Slinkys offer relaxed sociability, while the historic White Lion remains a local favourite.

For sport and leisure, world-class golf awaits at Royal Liverpool and Caldy, alongside sailing, paddleboarding and coastal trails that stretch for miles.

Connected, Yet Peaceful Despite its serene setting, West Kirby is exceptionally well connected.

Regular train services link directly to Liverpool in around forty minutes, placing the city’s culture, shopping and nightlife within easy reach.

Chester’s Roman walls and boutique streets are less than an hour away, and the natural beauty of North Wales lies just beyond.

For travel further afield, both Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester airports are conveniently accessible, making Hilbre Sands as practical as it is beautiful.

The Wirral’s Paradise Peninsula The wider Wirral Peninsula offers an extraordinary blend of coast, countryside and culture.

Over fifty miles of walking routes and twenty-two miles of coastline invite exploration.

From the peaceful dunes of Red Rocks to the green expanses of Thurstaston Common, this is a landscape that inspires adventure and tranquillity in equal measure.

Historic villages such as Parkgate and Heswall exude charm, while the region’s culinary scene rivals that of larger cities, showcasing local produce and coastal flavours.

It is little wonder the Wirral has been named one of the happiest places to live in the North West.

Thoughtfully Designed, Beautifully Built Every apartment at Hilbre Sands benefits from the reassurance of a ten-year structural warranty and a 250-year lease.

Modern building systems, including air-source heating, heat-recovery ventilation and underfloor warmth throughout, combine sustainability with comfort.

Large aluminium windows, solid internal doors and soft matt finishes express quality and attention to detail in every room. This is not simply a place to live – it is a way of life.

A home where mornings begin with light dancing across the water and evenings end with the glow of sunset over the estuary.

A home designed for those who appreciate craftsmanship, calm and the quiet luxury of space.

At Hilbre Sands, coastal living finds its most sophisticated expression – a rare opportunity to call one of the Wirral’s most beautiful addresses your own.
