Windover Crescent, Lewes, BN7 1DP

Charles Wycherley Independent Estate Agents are delighted to announce the marketing of Sparrow House, a unique detached award-winning eco-friendly property in a light and quiet plot.

The house was constructed in 2004 and has 3 bedrooms in total, a galleried master bedroom on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, one with bi-fold doors to the central courtyard, along with an L` shaped shower/bathroom.

There is also a cloakroom off the entrance hall and a large open-plan central living room/kitchen with triple aspect and bi-fold doors looking out to the central deck/seating area and garden.

The sitting room area has a wood-burner and room for a dining table leading onto a separate kitchen area with fitted cupboards.

The property has a private wrap-around garden to the east, south and west, with shrubs, vegetable and fruit gardens and a parking space.

The low carbon, sustainable property has locally sourced sweet chestnut wood cladding, decorated render and zinc roofs, with solar thermal panels linked to underfloor heating and hot water, plus 9 x solar PV panels generating electricity for the house, as well as timber-framed double glazed windows with high levels of insulation throughout.

All internal walls and ceilings are finished with environmentally friendly clay plaster. Windover Crescent is in the highly popular Nevill area of largely 1930`s houses.

The location is most convenient for the local stores and the Nevill recreation ground. Walks onto the South Downs are only a few hundred yards for long-reaching hikes.

This area is very close to the Wallands primary school and the town centre with it`s historic core, is approximately 15 minutes walk.

The town offers an excellent range of independent shops, 3 superstores, cafes, pubs and restaurants and just to the south of the High Street is the mainline Railway Station (London Victoria 65 min, London Bridge 90 mins & Brighton 15 mins), adjacent to the popular Depot Cinema.
