19, High Street, Measham, DE12 7HR

An excellent opportunity to acquire a prominently positioned development site in the centre of Measham, offering strong potential for redevelopment (subject to planning).

Formerly the Co-op building, the site now presents a clear opportunity for a purchaser to bring forward a new scheme in a well-connected and established location.

The property comprises two separate plots , positioned close to one another but not directly adjoining , providing flexibility for a variety of development approaches.

The main plot , which houses the former retail building, extends to approximately 0.10 acres The secondary plot , previously used as a parking area, extends to approximately 0.05 acres Occupying a visible High Street position, the site benefits from strong passing traffic, nearby residential catchment, and easy access to local amenities.

The existing building is in poor condition and considered suitable for demolition , making this an ideal clear-site redevelopment opportunity This allows developers to fully reimagine the site without the constraints of adapting an existing structure.

The site is particularly well suited to a residential apartment scheme , whether across one or both plots, or as part of a mixed-use development incorporating ground floor commercial space (subject to planning).

The separation of the plots may also offer phased development potential or alternative layouts depending on a purchaser’s vision.

Opportunities to acquire sites of this nature in such a central village location are increasingly rare, particularly where flexibility of use and strong positioning combine.
