About the Inside.

A striking porched entrance is adorned with largely original stained glass arched windows and leads into the vast entrance hall with original Victorian tiling and a grand, handcrafted wooden staircase, taking centre stage.

The house retains many of its original features and was fully renovated when the family took ownership.

Set off the hallway is a generous home office or snug with a feature fireplace and views to the front grounds.

Across the hall are two large reception rooms, each with its own open fireplace, a tall bay window and double doors which open onto the terrace.

These impressive rooms with their high ceilings and ornate fire surrounds offer plenty of entertaining space and long views across the south facing lawn.

To the rear of the hallway is a lobby area leading through to a ground floor cloakroom with a walk-in shower.

Beyond this is the family kitchen with its original flagstone floor and a host of base and wall cabinets and houses a large gas range cooker.

A second door leads to a great sized utility room from which a covered entrance links to stone outbuildings and a very useful ‘lean too’ workshop.

From the hallway, a secluded understairs door reveals a hallway which takes us to a very usable cellar.

The first-floor landing is as impressive as the entrance hall, awash with natural light, the space is ignited by the tall ceiling heights which continue on this floor.

Each bedroom is a superior size with the two largest overlooking the gardens to the rear and have long range views across to Glastonbury Tor.

There are two further, large double bedrooms each retaining their original fireplace, and a smaller fifth bedroom with access to a vast loft space which offers clear potential to develop if desired.

A family bathroom and a second shower room serve the five bedrooms along with the ground floor shower room. About the Outside.

The south facing garden has been a great love of the owner, and the family have curated a beautiful outdoor space with traditional flower boarders and a large central lawn.

Beyond this is an attractive and very established fruit and vegetable plot with a timber shed and greenhouse.

The rear gardens run to almost 200ft with many fruit and ornamental trees and further lawn.
