Ashley Park, St Andrews, BS6 5DX

"One of the things we love about the house is the sense of calm, despite being in the middle of things. Gloucester Road and town are within easy reach, but you wouldn't know it once you're home.

The kitchen gets the morning sun and in the evening, the sun peaks through to the garden over the garage, perfect for a drink with surprising views over the valley." The home A classic bay fronted Victorian family home that balances character and contemporary beautifully to create a homely yet polished vibe throughout.

Upon entering the hallway with its elegant cornicing and stained glass you know this is going to be a special home.

The lounge is an impressive space, flooded with light that pours through the South-West facing bay window, there's a handsome fireplace and ornate cornicing which complements the engineered eco-conscious bamboo flooring perfectly.

The flooring continues through the hallway into the dining room which is a great space for hosting with a view through the conservatory onto the garden.

The kitchen is a show-stopper and the heartbeat of the home. The vibe is understated quality with engineered Granite work surfaces and bespoke oak doored units.

Wonderfully light due to the extensive use of glass, bi-fold doors and Velux windows, it's a great social space that transitions onto the garden seamlessly.

The second bedroom looks out over the garden and catches the morning sun as does the third bedroom, also great sized double.
