Lindisfarne Gardens, Maidstone, ME16 8QG

A well-proportioned two-bedroom upper-floor apartment in a well-regarded gated development, close to Maidstone town centre and mainline stations.

Lindisfarne Gardens is a well-regarded gated development sitting close to the heart of Maidstone, and it immediately sets itself apart from the kind of flat that sits alongside a busy road.

Gated vehicular access, well-maintained communal grounds, and a settled, orderly parking area make this the sort of address where residents can tell immediately that the development is properly managed and looked after—and that matters to buyers as much as what is behind the front door.

The flat includes one allocated parking space, a practical detail buyers with a car factor into their decision.

Situated on the upper floor, the apartment enjoys a pleasant outlook and a natural sense of privacy that ground- and first-floor flats do not offer.

Inside, the accommodation opens into a practical entrance hall with access to all rooms and two generous storage cupboards.

One cupboard was freed up by the installation of a brand-new combi boiler in December 2025—a straightforward but significant upgrade that gives the new owner a modern, efficient heating system from day one, plus more usable storage space than most other flats in the block.

The lounge and dining area is a well-proportioned room measuring 14'3" x 13'5", centred around a fireplace and surround that creates a focal point and a genuine sense of character.

It comfortably accommodates both a sitting area and a dining table, and benefits from good natural light.

The kitchen, at 10'7" x 6'1", features a range of wall and base units with space for the usual appliances.

There is clear scope for a buyer to update and modernise to their own taste—and doing so would add immediate value to the property.

Bedroom one is a well-sized double at 15'9" x 9', with its own en suite—a feature that makes the principal bedroom feel genuinely self-contained and that buyers consistently value.

Bedroom two, at 9'9" x 8'8", is a comfortable second bedroom. The family bathroom completes the accommodation.

The property is priced to reflect its current presentation, so a buyer prepared to invest in updating the kitchen and bathrooms is well positioned to acquire a good flat in a well-run development and improve its presentation and value.

The location adds considerably to the appeal.

Lindisfarne Gardens is within easy walking distance of Maidstone town centre — Fremlin Walk, The Mall and the Lockmeadow riverside complex are all close at hand, and Maidstone East, Maidstone West and Maidstone Barracks stations are within easy reach for those who commute into London.
