A complete refurbishment has transformed this iconic property into a stunning contemporary home finished to a high standard with a first floor kitchen/dining room opening onto a large roof terrace.

Ideally situated in the desirable area of Kewstoke and backing onto Worlebury woods. On the ground floor double oak doors open into a light and spacious living room.

Large windows to the front overlook the courtyard, and to the rear of the room is a little study nook.

Opposite the living room is a double bedroom with four arched windows to the front and a modern en-suite shower room. At the end of the tiled entrance hall is a cloakroom and a large utility room.

An oak staircase rises to the first floor and opens into the large open plan 36' kitchen/dining room with vaulted ceilings and tall arched windows.

Stunning views can be appreciated from the dining table, or step outside onto the roof terrace to watch the sunset.

A modern fitted kitchen with a gas hob and electric oven is flooded with light from tall windows to the side.

Two large double bedrooms, both with feature arched windows onto the roof terrace, share a large family bathroom with a modern freestanding bath.

About Castle House: John Hugh Smyth-Pigott inherited the manorial lordship of Weston-super-Mare on Christmas Day 1823, following the death of the Rev. Wadham Pigott.

The energetic young squire encouraged village children to plant trees on the hillside, initially to create a private game reserve but, once trees began to mature, he threw this woodland open to public wandering.

Two of his original gate lodges are still with us, one in private occupation in castellated splendour at the Kewstoke end of the Toll Road.

Kewstoke is a sought after area just to the north of Weston Super Mare overlooking Sand Bay. Bristol and Bristol Airport is within easy reach and the Mendip Hills are just a short drive away.

Local amenities and good schools can be found in Weston-super Mare, Worle, and the surrounding towns and villages.

A driveway provides parking for at least three vehicles and access to a workshop/store. Solid timber gates open onto a paved courtyard enjoying the views across the bay.

Opening from the kitchen/dining room, a large roof terrace landscaped with composite decking and metal railings provides a glorious space to really appreciate the stunning vista of Sand Bay.

A walkway leads past a rock garden and up to a smaller patio with a timber summer house. Further on, steps take you onto the roof of the property itself, and an area of garden backing onto the woods.
