The Observatory, Park Road, Poole, BH15 2FY

This beautiful apartment was purchased brand new by the current owners and has been looked after extremely well since.

Still feeling like new, but with some homely additions, this apartment is a true turn key option that floats above almost everything else the eye can see.

From spotless ‘new-build white’ decor beginnings, the flat has been subtly tweaked over the last few years into a mature, cosy space that gives a homely vibe along with peace of mind.

Residents at The Observatory benefit from breathtaking views not only from their apartments, but also from the large communal rooftop terrace that offers a 360° panoramic spectacle.

This particular apartment is also sold with two lockable storage units in the basement plus an allocated parking space.

Additional on-road parking spots are easily found nearby for extra vehicles/visitors!

Large openable windows keep the space bright and thanks to being high above street level (with direct lift access to your floor), the home is secure whilst you’re at the beach!

Through the main door with CCTV coded entry system, you’ll find well-maintained communal halls, stairways and a lift to all floors, including the basement for that storage unit.

Upon entering the apartment into the large hallway, you’ll have space to kick your shoes off and hang your coat (rare); from here you’ve got access to all rooms.

This contemporary flat exudes a wonderfully homely vibe, accentuated by high-quality finishes and modern appliances, including white goods, an app-controlled heating system, a luxurious bathroom plus a gorgeous en suite to the bedroom 1.

LED down lights throughout provide a warm and stylish ambiance and there’s a fancy air-recirculation system to keep things fresh if you want to keep the windows shut.

The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space enjoys natural light throughout the day from two sets of large, openable windows.

The kitchen is equipped with integral appliances, including a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, and extractor fan.

Under-cabinet lighting adds a touch of elegance in the evenings, illuminating the funky geometric tiled splash backs and ample work surfaces.

The bathroom is surprisingly spacious for a modern home, featuring an off-the-floor vanity unit, storage, a rain shower over a generously sized bath, recessed mirror and shelf and a concealed toilet cistern—all in like-new condition.

The generously sized, square-shaped bedrooms easily fits large furniture. Enhanced by excellent glazing, the rooms remain quiet during the evenings and comfortably accommodate a king-size beds.

With well-proportioned rooms, high-quality materials, and a thoughtful design, this property offers buyers worry-free living in a spectacular location.

Ideal for first time buyers, investors or those downsizing. The apartment's front door is next to only one neighbour, making it feel extremely private and peaceful.

We mentioned those private storage lockers- they are located below ground level and behind several security doors.

They’re ideal for safely storing paddle boards, holiday decorations and any other items you need tucked away and free from the flat. Additionally, there is a locked, communal bike store.

Only a handful of apartments at The Observatory have allocated parking sports.

This is a sought after benefit here and whilst everyone typically gets parked in this complex, having an allocated space is a great bonus!

Make your way up to the huge communal rooftop terrace equipped with tables, sitting benches and sun loungers to enjoy spectacular views of Poole Park and the surrounding area, with Brownsea Island and The Purbeck Hills visible in the distance. This is an awesome panoramic backdrop to host friends and family for any occasion- firework night, new years, sunset dinner and drinks or just somewhere to sun yourself.

The Observatory is very close to Poole Harbour & Sandbanks, a short drive or bike ride to Bournemouth, and right on the doorstep of Ashley Cross.

Amenities, public transport and nightlife are within walking distance, without being TOO close, for when you’re having a quiet one in!
