We've looked after it with great care over the years and we hope that shows to everyone who comes to view it. We're only selling because we're relocating.

The apartment is full of light and offers bright open plan living, a modern kitchen with built in oven hob and extractor hood, gas central heating and large double glazed windows with uninterrupted city views from all rooms.

There are two spacious double bedrooms, making it ideal for professionals couples young families or anyone needing a home office.

Residents benefit from lift access, secure bike storage, two communal terraces and optional adjacent parking.

The location is one of its biggest advantages, with Reading town centre just a 2 minute walk away offering supermarkets, shops, restaurants, cafés, gyms, cinemas, The Oracle and every day amenities.

The Royal Berkshire Hospital, GPs, Reading University and Reading Collage, schools are also nearby.

For work commuters, Reading Station with the Elizabeth Line and National Rail services is only a 5 to 10 minute walk, while Reading West Station is even closer and you can reach London in 30 minutes.

This penthouse apartment is peaceful and quiet, with fantastic city views. We've loved living here for the past few years and hope the next owners enjoy it as much as we have.

We've been lucky to have wonderful neighbours whom own their homes and have lived here as long as we have. Worth noting the sound insulation is excellent, so you rarely hear your neighbours.

There's also a genuine community feel, with people looking out for one another while still respecting everyone's privacy, making it a friendly and welcoming place to call home.

Kiel's view- There are homes that simply tick boxes, and then there are homes that genuinely improve the way you live. Mayer House is firmly in the latter category.

Owned by the current owners since new and originally selected as the development's show home, this beautifully maintained sixth-floor apartment has been lovingly cared for from day one.

Positioned on the top floor with a sought-after south-facing aspect, every room enjoys an abundance of natural light alongside uninterrupted views across Reading's skyline that create a wonderful sense of space throughout.

The heart of the home is the impressive open-plan living, dining and kitchen space.

Whether you're entertaining friends, working from home or simply relaxing after work, it's a room that effortlessly adapts to modern lifestyles.

The contemporary kitchen is fitted with an integrated oven, hob and extractor hood, while large double-glazed windows flood the apartment with sunshine throughout the day.

Both bedrooms are generous doubles, making this an ideal purchase for first-time buyers, professional couples, young families or anyone wanting the flexibility of a dedicated home office.

Practicality is equally well considered, with two large storage cupboards, gas central heating, an excellent EPC rating of B and impressive sound insulation that gives the apartment a wonderfully peaceful feel despite its central location.

Residents also enjoy lift access, secure bicycle storage, two communal roof terraces and the option of adjacent parking.

One of the things the current owners have loved most is the community within Mayer House.

Many neighbours have owned their apartments since the building was completed, creating a friendly environment where people look out for one another while still respecting everyone's privacy.

Area view- From the sellers- One of the things we'll miss most is the lifestyle that comes with living in central Reading.

There's a real sense of community with plenty going on throughout the year, from local markets (Farmer's Market is a mere 3 minute walk) and events, theatre and shows at the Hexagon and Reading theatres.

There is a Yoga centre next door and fitness classes in gyms, sports clubs and sports centres nearby and hobby groups, so it's easy to get involved and meet people.

The town has an excellent choice of cafés and restaurants so there's always somewhere to go or something new to try.

When you want to be in nature, you're only a short walk from beautiful green spaces (Forbury Park and Prospect Park) and the River Thames, where the riverside paths are perfect for walking or cycling, or a picnic especially during the spring and summer months.

It really offers the best of both worlds with the convenience of town centre living and nature right on your doorstep. From Kiel Few locations in Reading offer the lifestyle that Chatham Place does.

Positioned right in the heart of the town centre, you'll spend less time commuting and more time enjoying everything Reading has to offer.

Reading Station is just a comfortable 5-10 minute walk away, placing the Elizabeth Line, fast services into London Paddington and national rail connections within easy reach.

Whether you're commuting into the City, travelling across Berkshire or heading further afield, it's difficult to find a more convenient location.

Everything you could need is virtually on your doorstep.

The Oracle, Broad Street Mall, independent cafés, award-winning restaurants, gyms, supermarkets, bars, cinemas and everyday amenities are all within a few minutes' walk, making the car something you'll use far less often.

For those who enjoy balancing city life with outdoor space, both Forbury Gardens and the River Kennet are nearby, while the beautiful Thames Path offers scenic walks and cycling routes.

Prospect Park is also within easy reach, providing one of Reading's largest green spaces for running, weekend walks or relaxing with family and friends.

The Hexagon Theatre, Reading's vibrant café culture, regular markets and year-round events create a genuine sense of community, while nearby yoga studios, fitness classes and sports facilities mean there's always something to get involved with.

Healthcare and education are equally well catered for, with the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading College and the University of Reading all within easy reach.

It's a location that perfectly combines the convenience of modern town centre living with excellent transport connections and green open spaces nearby-a combination that's increasingly difficult to find.
