We first discovered Tregennis in 1999, and from the moment we walked through the door, we knew it was something truly special.

It was the breathtaking views that first drew us in, but also the feeling of the house itself, its sense of grandeur, warmth and the way it centres so beautifully around the main hall and dining space.

It instantly felt like home. Over the years, Tregennis has become so much more than just a place to live.

It has been our sanctuary, our escape, and the setting for so many of life?s most treasured moments.

This is where our children grew up, where family and friends gathered for celebrations, and where countless memories have been made.

It has a unique atmosphere, peaceful, uplifting and deeply connected to its surroundings, that has always made it difficult to leave.

We have carefully enhanced the property over time, modernising it while preserving the character that made us fall in love with it.

The kitchen, dining spaces, fireplaces and expansive decking have all been thoughtfully improved to make the most of both the home itself and its incredible setting.

One feature we have always particularly loved is the stunning stained-glass window, commissioned by the home?s original owner, a director of Pilkington Glass, which adds such wonderful history and individuality.

Daily life here has always felt special.

Mornings often begin with coffee on the decking, watching the sunrise over the mountains, while evenings are spent enjoying sunsets from the hot tub or sitting by the firepit listening to the sound of the sea.

In winter, there is nothing better than lighting the fire and watching dramatic weather roll across Cardigan Bay, while summer brings long afternoons entertaining on the terrace, barbecues with friends and spontaneous swims in the sea.

The seamless flow between indoors and outdoors is something we have always loved. With patio doors opening from so many rooms, the house feels completely immersed in the landscape.

We have even watched dolphins fishing offshore from the terrace, moments like that never lose their magic. Criccieth itself has been a huge part of what makes living here so special.

The community is warm, welcoming and unlike anywhere else we have experienced.

What we will miss most is the complete lifestyle Tregennis offers, the views, the connection to nature, the wonderful town and the memories made here.

We believe the next owners will fall in love with this home just as we did, and will create their own unforgettable chapter in this extraordinary coastal setting.
