The Carriageway, Malpas, SY14 7AN

Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman One of the joys of selling houses in this part of Cheshire and North Wales is the chance to get to know well the different hamlets, villages and towns.

By the nature of its rural character and small number of houses, trips to Threapwood are relatively rare.

It is though always a real joy to enjoy this beautiful part of the world – it is tranquil, pretty and unspoilt. This particular property lies just into Wales, with England reached on foot!

I can also testify to the fact that the village shop also sells an excellent steak pie throughout the year and good ice cream in the Summer!

This particular property is a real gem, offering so much value for money and having a quiet yet undoubtable charisma.

It forms part of a select development of just a few homes, al formed from original agricultural buildings and together blend a similar calibre and architectural theme.

It is also a location that combines privacy with security. Internally and externally, this is a property that has been extensively modernised and heavily invested in in the last eight years.

The result is a credit to the present owners and represents a ready to move into home that offers space, flexibility, elegance and practicality.

The size is ideal – including the double garage it extends to 2294 square feet.

There is terrific flexibility with two reception rooms, a large kitchen, utility room four bedrooms, the rare advantage of two refitted en-suites and an additional family bathroom.

It is perfect for family life, at all sorts of different ages and stages.

Externally there is off road parking, a lovely front garden, and a south facing walled rear garden that is very private and superbly stocked.

An unquestionably rare buying opportunity, this is a prime location to escape to the country whilst also enjoying close proximity to nearby towns and villages with amenities.

The pricing is very realistic and I am anticipating a strong market response.
