To the right-hand side of the home take the stone steps up to the front door and make your way into the porch - a convenient spot to doff your boots and coats.

A large living room spans the width of the home with triple aspect windows to front, rear and side.

The large grided, floor to ceiling window transforms the space letting the light flood through and offering picturesque views of the garden.

Note the built-in cupboard where possessions can be showcased and the beams overhead that add depth and character to the room. Journey into the hallway and turn left into the dining room.

Character continues with traditional red and black ceramic quarry tiles extending underfoot and the authentic stove cooking range fitted in the fireplace alcove.

These original features are timeless and make for a cosy spot for candlelit dinner parties but also busy weekday meals. Move across the hallway and into the kitchen.

Upper and lower cabinetry provide ample space for pots, pans, glassware, tins and packets to be hidden away.

Keep coats, shoes and bags in the convenient and spacious cupboards, found under the stairs.

Ascend the staircase taking note of the ceiling height that stretches above you; combine this with the large window on the half-turn, and you are met with a bright and airy first floor.

A large landing leads to the 4 bedrooms but first enter the capacious family bathroom to the left.

This bedroom and the further two capacious double bedrooms, found across the large landing, all boast beautiful original fireplaces, large secondary glazed windows and plenty of space for furniture to store away clothing.

Tonnes of natural light floods in through the apertures creating calming spots to retreat to and relax in. Be captivated by the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful gardens that envelope the home.

The well-established gardens are home to a beautiful variety of plants and shrubs. To the front, perpendicular to the road, lies an extensive lawn enhanced with shrubs and foliage throughout the year.

Come spring, watch as the floral colours bound into life.

In the winter, as the leaves fall from the trees, see even more of the dramatic lake views emerge beyond - quite a spectacular vista to behold.

The drive doubles up as a spacious terrace where BBQs and large parties can be hosted.

Behind the home lush green grass grows on a tiered garden, edged in Lakeland stone and surrounded by the mature oaks, sycamores and evergreens.
