1 & 2, Fishermans Cottage, Whitchurch, SY13 4JP

Open 9am-9pm, 7 Days A Week!

A rather unique opportunity to acquire not one, but two charming cottages, set within a peaceful rural position near Blakemere Lake, just a short distance from the ever-popular market town of Whitchurch.

Known as 1 & 2 Fisherman’s Cottage, this pair of characterful homes offer a highly versatile setup, perfectly suited to multi-generational living, but perhaps most notably presenting a compelling opportunity for investors or those seeking a lifestyle purchase with strong holiday let or rental income potential.

Whether utilised as short-term holiday accommodation, long-term rentals, or a combination of both, the flexibility here is a real standout feature.

Both properties enjoy their own sense of space and privacy, whilst sharing a delightful setting surrounded by open countryside-an idyllic backdrop that only enhances their appeal to the growing staycation market.

The accommodation is well laid out, with Number One offering a cosy and manageable one-bedroom arrangement, ideal for a single let or holiday retreat, whilst Number Two provides more generous proportions, including flexible reception space and additional bedrooms-perfect for larger groups or family occupancy.

Both cottages retain a warmth and charm that hints at their history, yet equally present an exciting opportunity for a new owner to enhance, add value, and truly maximise their income potential over time.

Outside, electric gates open onto a spacious driveway providing ample parking, along with a lawned garden and a charming courtyard seating area positioned between the cottages-perfect for guests or residents alike to enjoy the slower pace of rural living.

The location strikes a fine balance-peaceful and tucked away, yet within easy reach of Whitchurch, which offers a wide range of everyday amenities, schooling, and rail links connecting to larger centres-further strengthening its appeal for both tenants and holidaymakers.

Offered for sale with no upward chain, this is a rare and intriguing opportunity, particularly well suited to cash buyers or investors seeking a distinctive property with genuine scope for income generation and future growth.

EPC Rating: C Agents Notes (Water Supply, Important Information) The cottages currently receive their water supply via the neighbouring property.

Individual sub-meters have been installed to each cottage to monitor usage. We are advised that a formal arrangement for billing and supply has not been agreed with the neighbouring owner.

Buyers should be aware that this will require resolution and are advised to seek clarification from their solicitor during the conveyancing process.

Alternative options, including the installation of an independent water supply, have been explored, with indicative costs available upon request.
