Shared Ownership is a government-backed scheme designed to help you buy a home you may not otherwise be able to afford.

You purchase a share of the property, typically between 25% and 75%, and pay rent on the remaining share.

You will also pay a service charge to cover the maintenance and management of the building and communal areas.

Over time, you can increase your share up to 100% through staircasing or sell your home on the open market.

Your deposit is based on the value of the share you buy, rather than the full market value of the home, making these modern apartments more affordable than buying outright.
