Parsons Mews, Tonsleys, SW18 2HE

Private Garden, Period, Own Front Door & Two Floors at the Top of the Tonsleys This is a two-bedroom maisonette on the top two floors of a period building, tucked into a gated mews at the top of the Tonsleys.

It has its own entrance and its own garden, and it's been done up properly, so you can just move in.

GUIDE PRICE £500-600K Why this house - You get home through your own garden - Through the gate, past the deck and in your front door. There's no shared hallway, and nobody lives above you.

- The garden is somewhere you'll actually use - It has a dining deck under a timber pergola with festoon lights, a small lawn, raised beds and mature trees. Dinner outside in summer is easy here.

- The living room and kitchen flow into each other - The living room is at the front, with shutters, a fireplace and built-in shelving.

A wide opening leads through to the kitchen at the back, so the cook stays part of the conversation.

- The kitchen is a recent refit and absolutely beautiful - It has navy shaker units, wood worktops and a gas hob, with a window over the sink looking out to the trees.

- Both bedrooms are a good size - Each has a fireplace, built-in wardrobes and shutters. That works for a couple with a guest room, two sharers, or someone who needs a home office with a door.

- The bathroom is recently refitted too, and there's a separate WC - The bathroom has pink tiles, black fittings and a bath with a shower over it.

The WC on the landing helps with busy mornings and visitors. Why this area You're at the top of the Tonsleys, the prestigious pocket of period streets between East Hill and Old York Road.
