2 & 3 The Olde Inn, Crickhowell, NP8 1RF

Steeped in local history, this Grade II listed former Coaching Inn has been beautifully enhanced by the current owners, who have thoughtfully blended modern comforts with a wealth of original character and charm.

Easily adaptable into two separate dwellings, the property offers fantastic potential for generating an income; something the current owners have done successfully for over a decade, or is perfect for those looking for multigenerational living.

Alternatively, it makes a spacious and flexible family home, ideal for growing or larger families or simply entertaining visiting friends and family.

The main house welcomes you with an entrance hall featuring a WC, staircase, and original arched door leading into a cosy living room complete with an inglenook fireplace, bread oven, and wood-burning stove.

From here, a door opens into a charming kitchen/breakfast room, bathed in natural light and benefitting from French doors that lead out to the garden.

To the rear of the house is a versatile lobby area with built-in storage, a shower room, gym, large office (with additional external door), and craft room/study, each space offering flexibility to suit different needs.

Heading upstairs, there are four well-proportioned bedrooms, including one with an en-suite shower room, a family bathroom, and a handy laundry room that opens onto a surprising roof terrace.

The adjoining annexe, while connected to the main house, has its own additional private entrance and comprises a generous living/dining room with beautiful feature fireplaces, a kitchen/utility room, and a WC.

Upstairs, there are three further bedrooms and a bathroom, making it an ideal space for guests, rental, or independent family living.

Outside, the rear garden is a true delight, thoughtfully divided into two distinct areas.

The first is a charming courtyard with multiple seating areas—ideal for relaxing or enjoying a quiet coffee with views towards the Myarth.

Just off the kitchen is a lovely patio, perfectly suited for entertaining. From here, a path leads past a pond to a lawned garden with a cottage-style, wildflower feel.

This area enjoys a sense of privacy, with mature borders, raised vegetable beds, and an abundance of established planting.

Two former stables provide excellent storage, while the gravelled area around the side of the house leads to further storage solutions.

This space also gives access to a practical boiler room and an external staircase leading up to the roof terrace.

The annexe enjoys its own private courtyard garden, accessed directly from the kitchen—ideal for guests or independent living.

The area abounds with great little market towns and The Olde Inn is just a short walk from the ancient Tretower Court and Castle.
