Buyer Information on Anti Money Laundering (aml) We are required by law to conduct anti-money laundering checks on those selling & buying a property.

Whilst we retain responsibility for ensuring checks and any ongoing monitoring are carried out correctly, the initial checks are carried out on our behalf by Lifetime Legal who will contact you directly, at an agreed time, once you have had an offer accepted on one of our properties.

These checks cost £50 including VAT, for the transaction, not per person. This covers the cost of obtaining relevant data and any manual checks and monitoring which might be required.

This is payable by you directly to Lifetime Legal and is non-refundable. Please note, we are unable to issue a sales memo to the solicitors/conveyancers until these checks are complete.

Phillip or Helen can answer any questions you may have and will guide you through the process when you make an offer on a Gatehouse property.
