Fairview, Church Road, Cirencester, GL7 5BL

A charming and beautifully presented three-bedroom cottage in the heart of a pretty Cotswolds village, with lovely views.

Description Set at the very heart of the village of Quenington, within a stone’s throw of the charming pub, Fairview is a delightful cottage enjoying stunning views to the front over the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The period cottage is well positioned for making the most of the village’s thriving community and there are many footpaths and quiet country lanes accessible from the front door.

The pretty limestone cottage has been beautifully and sympathetically updated, with improvements including a two-storey side extension and extensive cosmetic decoration internally.

Light-filled interiors are packed with stylish touches, including a double-sided wood-burning stove in the sitting room, exposed beams, panelled walls and heritage colours.

The layout is traditionally planned, with a covered porch at the front opening to a warm and inviting snug.

This leads through to the spacious formal sitting room, and onwards to the open plan kitchen and dining room.

The latter is appointed with attractive cabinetry, a dining nook and a range of integrated appliances.

The kitchen leads around to a useful boot room and cloakroom with WC, with a side door from the parking area. Upstairs there are three good-size bedrooms, two of which are en suite.

All of the bedroom windows face towards the fields at the front, providing lovely far-reaching views.

Outside Fairview is set behind a dry-stone wall, with a pair of five-bar gates opening to a good-size gravel driveway.

The gardens are mostly to the front of the house: Manicured lawns accented with elegant blooms, tumbling roses, clipped hedges and fragrant herbs.

Tucked away to the side of the house is a stone terrace, with a pedestrian gate opening to a secluded, gravelled area where there is a shed and garden tap.
