Evelyn Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 9HE

Set in an enviable location between the fun of both Walthamstow Village and Wood Street, this bright and characterful three-bedroom Victorian mid-terrace home has been beautifully restored, with exceptional care taken to strike a balance between contemporary convenience and traditional charm.

Highlights include the open plan kitchen/lounge as well as the separate reception room, the first floor bathroom and of course, the gorgeously landscaped garden at the rear.

IF YOU LIVED HERE… Beyond that classic frontage, your front reception room is a light-filled sanctuary, with original flooring, a feature fireplace, striking ceiling rose, bespoke shutters and a sublime neutral colour scheme.

This beautifully maintained finish continues through to your show-stopper of a kitchen/diner/living space.

There’s plenty of room for lounging and dining here, so entertaining will be high on the agenda - and you’ll want to put that kitchen island to good use.

The cabinetry is immaculate, as are the appliances, including the American-style double fridge.

Striking tiling adds further style, while the skylit extension and bi-fold doors flood the space with natural light.

During warmer months, open the doors and spill out into the rear garden, which feels wonderfully secluded thanks to the lush surrounding foliage.

Up on the first floor, you’ve got three bedrooms, each with beautifully finished decor, alongside a generous family bathroom.

Here, beautiful tiling sits alongside a freestanding bathtub and walk-in shower - a nice touch of luxury.

As for beyond, you’ll probably already know about the many amenities of Walthamstow Village and Wood Street, but did you know that this little nook of E17 has started to attract its own perks?

The Lacy Nook offers a Nordic-style experience with Balkan fusion dishes on the menu, while the lively and down-to-earth Made in Portugal cafe often hosts fantastic barbecues.

Even closer on Shernall Street, you’ve got the new Arvo Sauna, if you fancy warming up/cooling down.

And don’t forget the Ravenswood Industrial Estate, which is home to the ever-popular God’s Own Junkyard, as well as breweries Pillars Brewery, Trap, plus gin palace Mother’s Ruin - it’s all just a few minutes walk away, so you don’t need to travel far at all to go ‘out out’.
