Description The original stone building has been imaginatively extended and adapted over the years to create a stylish, contemporary and unique country residence.

Fabulous, large, tilt and turn windows, fully glazed bifold doors, vaulted ceilings, roof lights, exposed stone walls and bespoke, reclaimed wood panelling blend urban trends with rural integrity.

There is plenty of space inside and out and the well-designed garden room provides an attractive, versatile, covered area for entertaining and relaxing, whatever the weather.

Accommodation The front door opens to a bright entrance porch where there is plenty of space for coats and boots.

Ahead is a cleverly designed study with workstation and floor-to-ceiling cupboards, for seamless storage. To the right is the kitchen/dining room.

This dramatic, vaulted space is flooded with natural light from all angles.

Bespoke, solid wood, kitchen units provide ingenious storage along with a concealed coffee station and a magnificent walk-in larder.

There is space for a dishwasher in the larder and for an American fridge freezer in the kitchen.

Original design and considered functionality work together to create a fun and funky workspace with unhoned granite worksurfaces on either side of a Flavel electric range cooker with 2 ovens and a grill.

Above this is a futuristic oval, suspended extractor with lights. A raised oak breakfast bar divides the workspace from the dining area and provides a relaxed area for dining and chatting.

There is plenty of space for a large table and chairs by the fantastic bifold doors which open to the paved garden terrace.

The clever use of the same flagstone slabs inside and out encourages a sense of continuity as you move out into the garden. Nestled in the corner of the dining area is a large multifuel stove.

To the rear of the kitchen is a bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Stone steps rise from the dining area to the sitting room.

Oak flooring, timber panelling and another large multifuel stove give this room a cosy and welcoming feel. Two large tilt and turn windows offer views of the attractive garden.

Double doors lead to a rear hallway. To the right is a laundry with space for a tumble dryer and washing machine and plumbing for a sink if required. The principal bedroom is opposite.

It has south facing windows, his and hers concealed, walk-in wardrobes and an extremely stylish ensuite shower room.

From the rear hall, oak and glass stairs rise to the first floor and glazed, double, exterior doors provide access to the garden.

Upstairs an enormous roof light floods the bespoke stairs with natural light. There are 4 further double bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room.

The bedrooms have the benefit of some wonderful, far reaching, rural views and there is a smart family bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubicle.

Outside The house is approached over a gravel drive where there is an EV charging point, a log store and space for several cars.

A jasmine and honeysuckle archway leads to enclosed gardens with a gravel path to the front door.

This path leads around the building to the left and to the right the garden opens out in front of the house.

There is a combination of paved and decked terraces adjoining the house, beyond this there is a lawn, bordered by shrubs, trees and floral raised beds.

A large, mature willow tree provides drama and structure, and the fabulous garden room is a backdrop to the west, creating a varied and enchanting outdoor environment to be enjoyed whatever the weather.

Beside the garden room is a handy storeroom and neat log store and beyond this there is a sheltered space which would be ideal for a hot tub.

At the north end of the garden there is another timber shed and a chicken enclosure. In addition to the majestic willow there are quince, rowan, cherry, peach, pear and apple trees.
