Richborough Close, Margate, CT9 4FA

There are plenty of modern homes around Westwood. This one has a little more going for it.

Set on a corner position in one of the more established parts of Westwood, this three-bedroom end-of-terrace home is exceptionally well placed.

Walk to the end of the road, cross at the zebra crossing and you’re into Westwood Cross — making this a particularly useful spot for anyone who works locally, wants the shops and facilities close by, or simply likes the idea of occasionally leaving the car at home, in your allocated parking space.

The position works well in the other direction too. Nash Lane gives straightforward access towards Margate, while Westwood Road takes you towards Broadstairs.

In simple terms, you’re pretty much in the middle of everything. The house itself has been very well looked after and improved by the current owners.

The kitchen/dining area has been recently refitted and gives the ground floor a much more contemporary feel, while upstairs there are three bedrooms, including the main bedroom with its own smart en-suite shower room.

Outside is another reason we think this one stands apart.

The rear garden is genuinely a good size for a modern three-bedroom home , helped by the corner position, while the frontage and side have been landscaped with gravel and some rather cool architectural planting.

It’s low maintenance without looking like somebody simply gave up on gardening. Overall, No.33 is a really nicely presented home in a location that makes an enormous amount of sense. Three bedrooms.

A good garden. Recently improved. Westwood Cross almost on the doorstep, with Margate and Broadstairs easily accessible either side. A very good house in a ridiculously useful position.
