Landbeach is an attractive village with a friendly community, located just five miles from Cambridge.

Known for its variety and quality of housing, it remains one of the few villages in the area that has largely avoided more recent development and retains its unspoilt character.

The village has its own recreation ground, two churches, a Tithe Barn, village hall and an outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery a short walk from the cottage.

There is a cycle path to Milton, and in spring 2026 a new pedestrian, cycle and equestrian path will open connecting the village to Waterbeach.

Regular bus services run to Cambridge from the village, and a free bus service operates to the nearby primary and secondary schools. Park and Ride is located a short drive away.

The area is also within easy reach of the Cambridge Science Park, Cambridge Research Park and Cambridge Business Park.

Two railway stations are close by at Waterbeach and Cambridge North, both offering direct links to London and Ely.

From summer 2026, services will also stop at Cambridge South, providing convenient access to the Biomedical Campus and Addenbrookes Hospital.

Landbeach neighbours the well served villages of Cottenham, Milton and Waterbeach, which offer extensive amenities including a Tesco superstore, primary schools, Cottenham village college, hairdressers, public houses and a delightful Country Park.
