We've tightened what earns a Pursue. A home now needs a published valuation, a strategy that still makes money after real running costs and lender stress tests, and no listing problems that would stop a mortgage. You'll see fewer Pursues, and each one has been checked harder.

About
The Barrel House forms part of an exciting restoration of a former brewery in the heart of Wilton, where heritage character is being carefully combined with contemporary design and high-spec finishes.
Currently under construction and due for completion in July 2026, this exceptional three-bedroom home has been thoughtfully planned to provide well-balanced living spaces that feel both stylish and practical for modern life.
With energy-efficient construction and bespoke detailing, it presents a rare chance to secure a distinctive new home within one of Wilton’s most characterful buildings.
Set across three floors and extending to approximately 1,400 sq ft.
The ground floor is centred around a generous open-plan kitchen, dining and living space where large tri-fold doors open directly onto a private south-facing courtyard garden.
The kitchen itself has a calm, understated feel with integrated AEG appliances, and plenty of preparation space designed as much for everyday living as entertaining friends and family.
A welcoming entrance hall and separate WC complete the ground floor, while the courtyard garden offers a secure and low-maintenance outdoor space ideal for morning coffee, relaxed evenings, or simply enjoying the sun throughout the day.
The first floor provides two generous double bedrooms alongside a beautifully finished family bathroom.
The bathrooms have been designed by an award-winning Salisbury-based company and combine soft neutral tones with high-quality fittings, creating spaces that feel elegant without being overly formal.
Occupying the top floor, the principal bedroom enjoys a quiet and private feel beneath vaulted ceilings with skylights drawing in natural light throughout the day.
The bedroom is served by a stylish en-suite shower room, while a separate office space on this floor offers flexibility for home working, hobbies, or occasional guest accommodation depending on your needs.
Throughout the home, the attention to detail is immediately apparent.
Heritage-inspired windows complement the original character of the former brewery, while modern insulation standards, gas central heating, and energy-efficient construction contribute to a predicted EPC rating of B.
The Barrel House forms part of a small collection of bespoke homes being built by a passionate local team committed to preserving the building’s historic character while creating homes designed for modern living.
The result is something increasingly hard to find - a newly built home that feels distinctive, well crafted, and designed for modern living.
