Barton Court Avenue, New Milton

There's something lovely about living close enough to the coast that a walk along the beach becomes part of your everyday routine.

On Barton Court Avenue, mornings can begin with the dog along the shoreline, followed by coffee at one of the clifftop cafés, before heading home to a house that feels comfortable and welcoming throughout the seasons.

Arranged over three floors, this four-bedroom home offers plenty of room for family life, visiting friends or simply having space to yourself.

The sitting room is a particular favourite with the current owners, overlooking the rear garden and enjoying lovely natural light.

It's a comfortable place to spend time together, whether that's a quiet evening watching television or settling in under a throw when the weather turns colder.

The kitchen/dining room provides a separate space for cooking and everyday meals, with tiled flooring and a practical connection to the rest of the ground floor.

A downstairs cloakroom and adjoining garage add to the convenience.

Three double bedrooms occupy the first floor, including a generous principal bedroom with its own en suite, alongside a family bathroom.

Upstairs, the second floor offers a particularly flexible arrangement, with another spacious double bedroom, a second en suite and a separate study.

The current owners use this upper level as their main bedroom, creating a welcome sense of separation from the rest of the house.

Outside, the garden is somewhere the owners genuinely enjoy spending time.

Summer afternoons are often spent beneath the pergola, with clematis flowering nearby, while warmer evenings stretch out around the fire pit.

On some nights, the sound of waves breaking along the beach can even be heard from the garden. The location is a big part of what makes life here so enjoyable.

Morning walks along Barton on Sea's clifftops often end with a coffee at the Beachcomber or Cliff House, both favourite spots for the current owners.

The Pebble is another lovely option for a meal out, while nearby Highcliffe High Street and New Milton offer a good choice of shops, cafés and everyday essentials.

With the beach, coastal walks and places to meet friends so close to home, there's a relaxed rhythm to life here that's easy to settle into.

Whether you're looking for a family home by the coast or somewhere to escape to at weekends, Barton Court Avenue offers the space to enjoy both.

It's a place where the sea becomes part of your daily routine, summer evenings are spent in the garden and there's always somewhere nearby to enjoy a coffee, a walk or a meal with friends Disclaimer Important information These particulars have been prepared with reasonable care and are intended to provide a general description of the property.
