Peneki, Northfields Road, Nailsworth, GL6 0NB

Believed to date from the 1920s, this detached home has been thoughtfully improved by the current owners over recent years, with significant investment including a replacement roof, new heating system, updated electrics and a refitted family bathroom.

The result is a welcoming home that successfully blends original character with modern comforts, while still offering an opportunity for a purchaser to put their own stamp on the rear ground floor accommodation if desired.

Stepping inside, the entrance hall gives access to the principal reception rooms and staircase to the first floor.

The sitting room is a generously proportioned reception room enjoying lovely views across the valley towards Watledge and Theescombe.

A fireplace with a wood burning stove provides an attractive focal point.

The dining room also benefits from views through a bay window to the front and leads through to the kitchen, which is fitted with a range of matching base and wall units.

Beyond the kitchen is the family room, where French doors open onto the paved seating area, creating a lovely connection with the garden.

A separate utility provides additional storage and appliance space, together with access to the rear garden and the ground floor bathroom.

Whilst this part of the house would now benefit from updating, it offers an excellent opportunity for a purchaser to put their own stamp on the property.

The first floor offers three well proportioned double bedrooms arranged around the landing, where an attractive stained glass window provides a lovely feature.

The two front bedrooms make the most of the views across the valley towards Watledge and Theescombe, while the third overlooks the rear garden.

The original fourth bedroom has been converted into a spacious family bathroom, creating a generous room fitted with a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.
