At Goldfinch Point, we're proud to offer affordable ways to buy with Older Persons Shared Ownership (OPSO); a flexible government-backed scheme designed to make later living more accessible.

How it works: * You can purchase a share of your chosen home (between 10% and 75% of its value), funded through savings, pension withdrawals, or equity from the sale of your current home.

* You'll pay rent on the remaining share, set at 2.75%. * If you purchase the maximum share of 75%, no rent is payable.

* A monthly service charge also applies, covering upkeep, communal amenities, and services.

Key benefits of Shared Ownership: * Lower upfront costs compared to buying outright * Flexibility to increase your share over time * The ability to right-size to a home designed for your needs * Security of tenure- you are the legal homeowner * Government support may be available towards rent or service charges * Peace of mind: your new home is modern, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance
