Property DESCRIPTIONEver fancied your own character property restoration project?

This historic detached house and separate detached annex building is located literally at the foot of the North Downs beside the Saxon village church.

The original part of the property dates back to the 16th Century.

In 1758 the property was dramatically altered by Thomas Whitaker, who later became the high sheriff of Kent, placing on the front elevation two sandstone plaques denoting the family names, clearly still visible at first floor level.

The location is the epitome of a tranquil, rural setting. There are many lovely country walks on the Downs and along the Pilgrims Way on your door step.

Once brought back to its former glory, this property really does have it all - period, charm and location.

The detached annexe comprises open plan studio living space with a separate bedroom and bathroom. There is off road parking.

Garden wise there is a courtyard at the rear of the house which in-turn leads to a long narrow garden area which runs parallel to the churchyard.

The larger lawned garden is found to the front of the building.
