Today, it is a beautifully balanced family home where period charm coexists with contemporary comfort.

Extending to over 4,400 sq ft of beautifully arranged accommodation, exposed timbers, period detailing and impressive fireplaces sit comfortably alongside carefully considered modern enhancements.

The principal reception rooms are elegant and inviting, providing a series of atmospheric spaces for both formal entertaining and everyday family life.

At the heart of the home lies a bespoke handcrafted kitchen, centred around a traditional four-oven Aga and complemented by granite work surfaces and integrated appliances.

French doors connect the kitchen to a stunning orangery, creating a light-filled living and dining environment with excellent views over the gardens.

The bedroom accommodation is arranged across the upper floors and comprises six generous bedrooms served by four bath and shower rooms, three of which are en suite.

This versatile accommodation for family and guests also benefits from attractive views across the surrounding gardens and grounds.

Outside The grounds at Kings are every bit as impressive as the house itself and provide an exceptional backdrop to this private and picturesque country estate.

Extending to approximately ten acres, they comprise a captivating mix of formal gardens, rolling lawns, paddocks and mature woodland.

A long private driveway approaches the house, culminating in extensive parking for numerous vehicles and access to the garaging.

The gardens have been thoughtfully landscaped to provide colour, texture and interest throughout the seasons, with mature specimen trees and established planting contributing to the feeling of seclusion.

Immediately surrounding the house are areas of lawn and terrace ideal for outdoor entertaining, while beyond lies a wonderful collection of leisure facilities.

A heated outdoor swimming pool, complete with retractable enclosure, extends the swimming season and allows year-round enjoyment. The all-weather tennis court is another enviable leisure asset.

A charming boating pond is an additional focal point within the grounds, while equestrian facilities include two loose boxes, a tack room and machinery store contained within a substantial timber outbuilding.

The adjoining post-and-rail paddocks offer excellent grazing or an opportunity for those with lifestyle farming aspirations.
