Description This wonderful bungalow takes in some fabulous far reaching views from its elevated location on a quiet road at the top of the village taking in the village, the Teign Estuary and the surrounding countryside as far as Dartmoor in the distance.

The property has not been on the open market since it was built in 1972, and appears to have been well-maintained over the years.

However, as fashions change it offers the next buyer the opportunity to put their own stamp on the property with modernisation to certain areas, in turn adding value.

Although, having said that, there is nothing to stop the next owner living comfortably in the property as it is.

The property benefits from modern double glazing throughout and gas central heating with the boiler and radiators having been replaced in recent years.

Well thought out accommodation briefly comprises of three bedrooms, a bathroom and separate WC, a sitting room, dining room and a kitchen/breakfast room.

Outside there are front and rear gardens plus parking and a garage to the front. Accessed externally below the house there is a very useful workshop/store leading to further under croft storage.

This property is for sale with no onward chain/chain free so a sale can progress as quickly as the conveyancing allows with no waiting for the sellers to find a property.

Accommodation A flight of steps from the drive leads up to a west facing sun terrace where you should take a moment to admire the stunning elevated views before entering the property through the front door.

There is plenty of space on the terrace for a garden table and chair set. A great spot for morning coffee or to watch the sun set.

On entering the spacious hallway gives access to the bedrooms on one side and reception rooms to the other.

The sitting room is a lovely bright and generously proportioned room with large windows and a dual aspect binging in plenty of light as well as allowing the views to be enjoyed.

There is a stone fire surround with an electric fire.

A door connects the sitting room to the dining room with plenty of space for a dining table and associated furniture, and also has access from the hallway.

The room is partially open to the kitchen separated by a wonderful retro partially glazed shelving unit.

The kitchen has a range of floor and wall mounted storage units above and below the wooden work surfaces with tiled splashbacks and inset stainless steel sink and drainer, above which there is a large picture window overlooking the back garden.

There is an inset electric hob with and extractor over and electric oven below, plus space for an undercounter fridge and freezer, and space for an under counter washing machine.

A door opens to the back garden area. The main bedroom is to the front of the property again taking in the view from the large windows to two aspects.

The room is of a good size with plenty of space for bedroom furniture. Bedrooms two and three both have built-in wardrobes.

At the end of the hallway is the fully tiled bathroom including a bath with shower over, glass shower screen and washbasin. Adjacent to the bathroom is a separate WC.

Outside At the front is a driveway providing parking leading to the single garage below the house. Steps to a pathway to the right of the house give direct access to the back garden.

The front garden has an area of lawn surrounded by hedging and planted boarders. A path to the side of the house connects the front garden to the rear.

The back garden is landscaped over three main levels separated by shrub and flower boarders.

The lower level is mostly paved providing space for garden furniture, with lawn to the next levels with a mature hedge close to the rear boundary, although there is further garden space within the plot beyond the hedge that could also be utilised.

Below the house and accessed externally is a useful workshop and store area with power and light. This leads on to further storage space not shown on the plan due to the restricted head height.
