9, The Island, Tean, ST10 4JE

“Islands in the stream, that is what we are, no one in between, how can we be wrong?” 9 The Island houses a love story spanning over 65 years until now where we search for another lover to call it home once more.

From one lover to another, this is a cosy home in need of a little updating but with every potential to become someone’s paradise.

As you step through the front door, you have a spacious lounge with a bow window for natural light and a gas fire for a cosy touch.

Exposed solid beams trim the ceiling, adding to the character and charm.

It’s the same in the kitchen which has room for a breakfast table and storage for all your culinary needs, with gas cooking to make that perfect sit-down meal.

A gas fire in this room will make meal times extra special. For extra storage, you have two under-stairs storage spaces, and one is currently home to the fridge freezer (nifty, I know).

As we head upstairs, the property boasts two double bedrooms, one with built-in double wardrobe. There is also a versatile single, perfect as a home office or nursery.

A family bathroom serves the home, and a separate toilet is across the stairs for added convenience.

Internally the property offers modern conveniences with gas central heating and double glazed windows.

The rear garden is the perfect low-maintenance, breath of fresh air, a sun trap perfect for a patio seating area and some fairy lights.

For extra space, the garden is also home to a workshop with electricity, perfect for someone with a trade or a tinkering hobby, or maybe, with some alterations, a nice rear garden room?

This isn’t all, though, to the front immediately outside is a pretty front garden with gravelled seating area perfect for your morning coffee, and slightly offset is another garden with patio needing someone with green fingers to bring it back to life.

All this is located in Upper Tean, just off the river. A beautiful spot in itself, Tean is home to a park, pubs and eateries as well as a convenience store.

For more modern convenience, you have Cheadle town just a stone's throw away.

For your little ones, there’s an abundance of well-regarded schools in the vicinity, and getting about is a breeze thanks to strong transport links to the A50 as well as a pretty handy bus service.

Think you have a touch of magic to spread to the island. Book your viewing today and let the love story unfold. EPC Rating: D Buyers Note The title is currently unregistered on Land registry.
