9, Carrs Yard, Whitby, YO21 1QR

Hope & Braim are delighted to present Herring Cottage, 9 Carrs Yard in Whitby to the market.

Tucked away in a hidden corner just off the bustling Bagdale, you will find this period cottage with its sheltered and sunny frontage.

One of a half a dozen cottages, that makes up this gem of a yard which is only accessed by a narrow set of stone steps, that add to the hidden nature of this cottage.

The accommodation is spread over three floors, comprising an open plan living room/kitchen with a beamed ceiling, windows to both elevations that flood the room with plenty of natural light and a stable door which opens onto the south-facing yard.

There are bedrooms above and below the living room, with a modern shower room and a double bedroom on the lower ground floor, which has fitted wardrobes and a second entrance door leading onto the back yard.

On the first floor there is the second bedroom which has a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and a dormer window that overlooks the historic rooftops of Bagdale.

We feel this cottage is something quite special as it is both light & spacious, whilst having the period features our customers like, and is in a private setting, whilst being in the centre of town.
