Location Berneray is a small island in Scotland's Outer Hebrides where white shell-sand beaches, turquoise Atlantic waters, and low, windswept hills create a landscape that feels both rugged and tranquil.

Home to a small year-round community, it is connected by causeway to North Uist yet retains a quiet, remote character shaped by crofting, fishing, and Gaelic heritage.

Visitors come for its abundant wildlife-including seals, seabirds, and occasional otters-as well as its peaceful walking trails, dramatic coastal views, and a sense of unhurried island life that changes with the tides and weather.
