Seamead, Stubbington, PO14 2NG

Situated in one of Stubbington’s most sought after locations, close to amenities and a short distance from the beach, a truly stunning property built in the 1950’s offering ?

square feet of accommodation with a deep frontage and professionally designed garden.

My clients have owned the house since 2020 and since their ownership they have carried out an extensive programme of refurbishment works and sympathetically extended it to now offer a beautifully designed and curated family home.

A unique selling feature of this wonderful property is the careful thought and sensitive approach given to protecting the environment with the installation of a state-of-the-art solar panel system and air source heat pump making for a zero-cost electricity home.

The property is approached via an electric sliding gate opening onto a large granite chip driveway; the elevations of the property have been rendered to create a very striking facade.

On entering the proportions of the era are evident with a wide gracious hallway and high ceilings featured throughout the house.

The adjacent Sitting Room is well proportioned and centres on a fireplace with a woodburning stove flanked on both sides with bespoke cabinetry and shelves; a deep bay window has been designed with big storage cupboards below.

To the rear my clients have reconfigured and extended the house to create a spectacular live in Kitchen/Dining/Family Room, perfect for a modern family lifestyle.

The Kitchen has been fitted with lots of storage cupboards with robust slab tech worktops, a pantry cupboard and large island with a breakfast bar for informal dining on two sides.

The family area is well proportioned and features a woodburning stove and a bank of bi-fold doors open onto the garden.

There is a Utility Room with an integrated washing machine and tumble dryer and a beautiful contemporary Cloakroom with an automatic light completes the ground floor.

The original staircase leads upstairs to four bedrooms, three of which are doubles and they are complemented by two designer bathroom suites.

The garden has been cleverly designed to be low maintenance with large wrap around terraces, an area of lawn and raised flowerbeds, there is gated side access on both sides.

Seamead is an exclusive tucked away location with a strong sense of community and where nearby Seafield Park brings wildlife to the area.

Local amenities can be found at Stubbington just under a mile away or Titchfield a short drive from the house whilst more comprehensive facilities can be found at Fareham, Portsmouth or Southampton.

For commuters rail links can be found at Fareham or at Southampton Airport Parkway with the latter running trains to London Waterloo in just over an hour.

The property is close to Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve which covers some 369 acres of the Lower Meon valley where one can enjoy a relaxing walk and see a variety of wetland habitats containing a wealth of wildlife.

Beyond the haven is Hill Head beach and The Solent providing excellent sailing facilities and coastal walks.

The pitch of the roof is high enough to offer further potential to convert the large loft space into SUMMARY OF FEATURES: Exclusive location a short walk from the beach; Less than a mile from Stubbington village and local amenities; Further potential to convert the loft into additional accommodation; Potential to build a side extension to create an ensuite to Bedroom 1; 8kw Solax integrated Solar Panel system with both Solax triple power 5.8kwh master battery and Solax triple pwr 5.8kw Slave Battery; 4 CCTV cameras; EV charger on driveway; Wiring in place to install a video entry system; Individual thermostat control for each room; New composite front door in 2021; New double glazed Agate grey windows throughout; Underfloor heating throughout the house; Laminate flooring throughout the ground floor; Kitchen appliances include a full height fridge and freezer, dishwasher and Stoves range cooker; Mood lighting options to Kitchen; 75” wall hung Samsung television to Family Room; Brass pot tap and Quooker hot tap; Fitted wardrobe cupboards to Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3.
