Rushbury Road, SY6 7DY

An incredible opportunity to acquire a unique, architect designed detached property built circa 2000, nestled in the highly sought after South Shropshire village of Rushbury.

Positioned on a generous plot of approximately two acres, this eco conscious home features energy efficient underfloor heating, solar panels, and characterful wood burning stoves.

While the property and its expansive grounds now require comprehensive updating and cultivation throughout, it presents an exceptional blank canvas.

This is the perfect project for an ambitious buyer or investor looking to put their own stamp on a grand design in a stunning rural setting, offered to the market with the distinct advantage of no upward chain. The ground floor layout flows logically through the living spaces, beginning with a entrance hall that opens directly into the first spacious reception room.

From here, you step into the generous, open plan kitchen diner with wood buring stove, which serves as the central hub of the home.

This space houses the main staircase to the upper floors and provides a seamless link to the spectacular connected arched gallery hallway/sunroom.

Leading directly off the opposite side of the kitchen diner is a second versatile reception room, also complete with its own wood burning stove.

The arched sunroom is a striking architectural highlight, featuring five separate doors that open out to the grounds and flood the home with natural light, while also providing a direct internal link to the large double garage and a practical downstairs shower room.

This garage space offers fantastic potential for conversion into another grand reception room, home office, or annex, subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents.Moving upstairs, the first floor hosts three well proportioned bedrooms served by a central family bathroom.

One of these bedrooms enjoys access to an additional large shower room that leads directly through to an impressive mezzanine gallery over bedroom 2.

This specific area offers exciting potential to develop further, providing the scope to create an additional ensuite bathroom to the bedroom below. To the outside, the property sits in approximately two acres of beautiful Shropshire countryside.

Although the grounds are currently overgrown and require significant landscaping, the acreage offers a wonderful mix of environments including a private paddock ideal for a smallholding, mature wrap around gardens, a peaceful woodland area, and an established orchard.

Situated in the scenic village of Rushbury within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the property enjoys a peaceful rural lifestyle while remaining within easy driving distance of Church Stretton, Much Wenlock, and Craven Arms for schools, amenities, and transport links.

Viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate the sheer scale, architectural merit, and vast potential on offer.
