Grizedale Court was constructed by Fairclough Homes and comprises 38 retirement apartments arranged over 3 floors each served by lift.

The Visiting Development Manager can be contacted from various points within each property in the case of an emergency.

For periods when the Visiting Development Manager is off duty there is a 24 hour emergency Appello call system.

Each property comprises an entrance hall, lounge, kitchen, one or two bedrooms and bathroom. It is a condition of purchase that residents be over the age of 60 years.

As a purpose built retirement apartment there are numerous communal facilities which include communal gardens, a laundry room, a large residents lounge with fitted kitchen which has been recently refurbished, a communal library and a resident house manager.

Each apartment also has numerous emergency alarm points connected to a 24/7 response centre. The apartment also benefits from off road parking and there is disabled access throughout.
