A much-loved family home for 50 years, this Grade II listed farmhouse retains many of its original architectural features, most notably the timber sash and bay windows and full-height open-string staircase with slender turned balusters and moulded handrail.

The kitchen occupies one of the larger front reception rooms overlooking the garden, the back kitchen forming a larger utility/boot room accessed directly from the rear courtyard.

The remaining reception room is a real highlight, perfectly proportioned, bathed in copious amounts of natural light and adorned with period features.

The two wings provide utility space, an office or craft room and several useful store areas, as well as a garage.

The gardens extend around three sides, predominantly lawned, bordered by a high hedge on the roadside and yew along the eastern boundary cut lower to enhance the views across the neighbouring parkland.

On the southern side of the house is a charming walled garden providing a sheltered sanctuary, a gate opening to a small paddock dotted with fruit trees.

The outbuildings include an extensive grade II listed stone built double storey barn with stabling, a single storey building and the central courtyard has been covered with a modern roof.

The whole offers development potential subject to the necessary planning consents. A driveway connects the house and outbuildings.
