Number 2 Springbank Road Newfield, Bishop Auckland, DL14 8DE

For sale by online auction on Tuesday, 06 Oct 2026 ending at 11:00 fantastic redevelopment opportunity!

Open House Viewing: Thursday 1st October - 12pm - 12.30pm An exciting redevelopment opportunity comprising a substantial end terrace property occupying a generous plot, offered to the market with pre-planning advice supporting the construction of two x three bedroom dwellings (interested parties should make their own enquiries with the local planning authority).

The existing three bedroom house is in a derelict condition and requires comprehensive refurbishment throughout, with significant remedial works required.

However, the sizeable plot presents excellent potential for developers, investors and self-builders seeking to maximise the site's value, subject to obtaining the necessary consents.

Whether restoring the existing property or pursuing redevelopment, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a site with considerable scope for future enhancement.

Situated in a residential area of County Durham, the property benefits from convenient access to local amenities, schools and transport links.

Bishop Auckland town centre is within easy reach, offering a range of shopping, leisure and everyday facilities, while the nearby A688 and A1(M) provide excellent connectivity to Durham, Darlington and the wider North East.

The combination of a generous plot, redevelopment potential and accessible location is likely to appeal to a wide range of buyers.
